Pengertian Factual Report Text
Faktual Report Text adalah teks dalam Bahasa Inggris yang mendeskripsikan sesuatu berdasarkan kaidah-kaidah ilmiah seperti fakta, data, contoh, dan teori-teori pendukungnya baik berbentuk lisan atau tulisan serta bertujuan untuk menyajikan informasi secara transparan, benar, akurat dan ilmiah.
Materi Factual Report Text
Dalam membuat factual report text, ada beberapa karakteristik yang mesti diperhatikan diantaranya seperti:
- Fakta ilmiah ditulis dalam bentuk Simple Present Tense.
- Tidak menampilkan judul spesifik dan bersifat umum
- Menyajikan gambar, data statistik, diagram atau peta untuk mempresentasikan hasil penelitiannya dilakukan secara ilmiah.
- Menggunakan kata benda & kata kerja
- Terdiri dari sebuah objek ditambah objek tentang alam lainnya.
- Menjelaskan kelompok atau aspek umum, bukan individu secara khusus.
- Menggunakan conditional logical conjunction; when, so, futhermore, in addition, etc.
Tahap Membuat Factual Report Text
Laporan adalah metode penyebaran informasi yang paling umum di dunia bisnis. Laporan faktual menganalisis dan menggambarkan situasi dan memasukkan sejumlah besar data yang akurat.
Penulis laporan yang sukses tahu bahwa menulis laporan hanyalah akhir dari proses. Mereka merencanakan laporan yang akan dibuat kemudian mempertimbangkan tujuannya dan siapa yang akan membacanya.

Volcanic eruptions happen when lava and gas are discharged from a volcanic vent. The most common consequences of this are population movements as large numbers of people are often forced to flee the moving lava flow.
Volcanic eruptions often cause temporary food shortages and volcanic ash landslides called Lahar.
The most dangerous type of volcanic eruption is referred to as a ‘glowing avalanche’. This is when freshly erupted magma forms hot pyroclastic flow which have temperatures of up to 1,200 degrees.
The pyroclastic flow is formed from rock fragments following a volcanic explosion , the flow surges down the flanks of the volcano at speeds of up to several hundred kilometres per hour, to distances often up to 10km and occasionally as far as 40 km from the original disaster site.
The International Federation response adjusts to meet the needs of each specific circumstance. As population movement is often a consequence, the provision of safe areas, shelter, water, food and health supplies are primordial.
In general response prioritizes temporary shelter materials; safe water and basic sanitation; food supplies; and the short term provision of basic health services and supplies.

The Sun is a star found at the center of the Solar System.At around 1,392,000 kilometres (865,000 miles) wide, the Sun’s diameter is about 110 times wider than Earth’s.
Around 74% of the Sun’s mass is made up of hydrogen. Helium makes up around 24% while heavier elements such as oxygen, carbon, iron and neon make up the remaining percentage. The Sun generates huge amounts of energy by combining hydrogen nuclei into helium. This process is called nuclear fusion.
The Sun’s surface temperature is around 5500 degrees Celsius (9941 degrees Fahrenheit). The Sun’s core is around 13600000 degrees Celsius. The average distance from the Sun to the Earth is around 150 million kilometers. Light from the Sun reaches Earth in around 8 minutes.
Because of the Sun’s huge influence on Earth, many early cultures saw the Sun as a deity or god. For example, Ancient Egyptians had a sun god called Ra while in Aztec mythology there is a sun god named Tonatiuh.

Tyrannosaurus’ comes from the Greek words meaning ‘tyrant lizard’, while the word ‘rex’ means ‘king’ in Latin. Tyrannosaurus rex is often abbreviated to T-Rex.
Tyrannosaurus rex lived in an area of the Earth that now makes up western North America. Tyrannosaurus rex lived in the late Cretaceous Period, around 66 million years ago.
Tyrannosaurus rex walked on two legs, balancing its huge head with a long and heavy tail that sometimes contained over 40 vertebrae. Tyrannosaurus rex had small arms that were extremely powerful and featured two clawed fingers.
Tyrannosaurus rex measured up to 13m (42ft) in length, 4m (13ft) at the hip and could weigh up to 7 tons. The skull of a Tyrannosaurus rex alone measured up to 1.5m (5ft) long. The largest tooth of any carnivorous dinosaur found to this date is that of a T-Rex. It is estimated to have been around 30cm (12in) long when including the root.
Along with Stegosaurus and Iguanodon, Tyrannosaurus rex was one of three dinosaurs that inspired the appearance of Godzilla. Tyrannosaurus rex was represented in the popular Transformers toy line and animated series as Grimlock, an Autobot that could transform into a powerful Tyrannosaurus rex.

Jasmine is an evergreen semi-vining shrub native to tropical areas of Southeast Asia, Africa and Australia. The plants are usually up to 3 meters high and 2 meters wide. Jasmine is a climbing vine with oval, shiny leaves and tubular, waxy-white flowers.
It has small white star-shaped flowers. The Jasmine flower releases its fragrance at night after the sun has set and especially when the moon is waxing towards fullness, thus it is associated with soothing peaceful night-time moods.
The leaves are oval rich green and have five to nine leaflets, each up to 2½ inches long. The plant flowers from April to September. Jasmine is propagated by cuttings of nearly ripe wood in summer.
Cuttings are planted in 3-inch pots within 4 weeks, then to 6-inches when pot is becoming filled with roots. The soil should be kept moist but well drained for optimum growth.
Frequent pruning is required to grow it as a shrub of desired size. Pruning also helps keep an abundance of flowers, since flowers are produced on new wood. It grows in full sun to partial shade. Fertilize monthly with a balanced fertilizer.
